Description
£20/child 3hrs. A group of between 5 and 10 children. Supervision ratio: 1 adult to four children. Aimed at children aged between 9 and 13 years old
Drop your child off or stay and do the class with them. There will be breaks for the children to play outside.
No refunds but credit can be transferred to future classes taught by Emma.
Skills and use of tools that will be learnt; Design skills; noticing detail; composition; balance of line, shape light and dark; focal point of a painting; controlling value gradation in order to make things appear three dimensional; perspective; creating different textures.
Colour theory; complimentary colours; blending colours to make greys, browns and tertiary colours.
Painting details of leaves, flowers, household objects; still life.
Painting from “flow”(paint abstract to music). Painting our moods.
What will be provided: pencils; rubbers; paper; water colour paint; paint brushes; plastic aprons; drawing boards; foliage, objects, still life; a nice view to paint; encouragement; fun
