I became a Christian in 1991, and I now attend Dereham Baptist Church in Norfolk. Since 1999, I have designed and made stained glass windows to an excellent, professional standard, after graduating from Roehampton University with a degree in stained glass and shortly afterwards winning the Award for Excellence from the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass. I paint glass using medieval techniques and work with the country’s best stained-glass studios, which fabricate and install my church windows worldwide. Ranging from traditional to contemporary, they all shine the Light of the world. Some of my windows were community art projects I created while working with church congregations. Commissions include a window in Bladon, Oxfordshire, in memory of Churchill. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, unveiled the window in 2014.
I have a stall at Holt Sunday Market where I sell hand-painted Wellington boots and products featuring my artwork, including greeting cards, mounted prints, T-shirts, mugs, coasters, tote bags, and other items.
My pencil drawings, prints and greeting cards of lions and children depict man’s relationship with God.
I paint on glass and hang the glass painting on the wall or in the window. Fine art glass paintings – stained glass for your walls and windows. These sell in galleries and exhibitions. My hand-painted glass paintings of birds and Norfolk scenes are fired onto the glass in the kiln, using medieval and Victorian stained glass painting methods. I have glass paintings for sale at Allen Hall Gallery in Glandford and I had glass paintings shortlisted and exhibited in the Holt Festival in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
I grew up in Cley, Norfolk, lived in London for twenty-five years until 2019, when I moved back to Norfolk to Hunworth, where I work as an artist.
