I am a glass painter. I paint on glass, fire the glass painting, and hang the glass painting on the wall or in the window.

I make fine art glass paintings – stained glass for your walls.  These sell in galleries and exhibitions; wall art glass paintings that are electrically back-lit, as well as glass paintings that are hung in the window in natural light.

My glass paintings are of birds and Norfolk scenes. My transformative work is full of love, colour and encouragement. It is purchased by the discerning client for their unique and excellent home life.

My glass paintings are a celebration of glass and nature.  Painting birds by hand onto the glass makes me feel their beauty, freedom and joy.  I also receive joy from the colour, shine and smoothness of glass.  Fuse-firing the paint onto the glass metaphorically seals for you for eternity, this joy, beauty, freedom and colour.

My mentor Matt Tommey interviewed me in July 2021 as part of his mentorship programme Created To Thrive  to celebrate my rapid progress during the first six months in the program, including having glass paintings shortlisted and exhibited in the Holt Festival, which I did in 2019, 2021 and 2022.

Graduating from Roehampton University in 1999, with a degree in Art for the Community, I began working for myself, designing and making stained glass church windows and stained glass Victorian front door windows, to commission, from my London studio.

I learned how to paint on glass in 2008, at top stained glass studios, as part of my Award for Excellence with the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass. Commissions include a window in memory of Churchill, in Bladon, Oxfordshire. The window was unveiled in 2014 by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.

I grew up in Cley in Norfolk, lived in London for twenty five years until 2019, when I moved back to Norfolk, to Hunworth, where I work as a glass painter.  I also sell my pencil drawings, prints and greeting cards and I teach drawing, glass painting and water colour painting.
