£90. 10-4pm. Two-course lunch provided. Please arrive 20 minutes early. Beginners welcome. All materials, tools and equipment provided. Please wear clothes suitable for painting.
Each participant will paint on glass using traditional kiln-fired paints in the Victorian layering method. They will paint two or three 20x15cm glass paintings of simple designs during the workshop. Each participant will have the option of, for an additional fee of £20, of having one glass painting fired after the workshop, framed in a black wooden frame and posted or delivered to the participant.
I show participants how to paint a simple design onto glass and I make the procedure fun and easy. The process teaches drawing skills like design, composition, modelling form, texture….
