Pheasant flying up from the border of Spencer’s Field – glass painting. Hung in the window against natural light
Spencer’s field is my favourite field. It is behind Hunworth Village Hall, 320yards from my home. It rolls away from the village hall car park in the most beautiful way.
Hand painted on sandblasted flash glass using glass paints (ground glass and lead oxides), took twenty hours, then fired in the kiln at 620 degrees centrigrade, four firings.
32cm x 27cm. Framed with half inch lead came. Hung in the window in natural light.
