A piece I made in response to an anti-racism day summer 2016 on Streatham Common with a community group called Streatham Stands Together.

A piece I did inspired by a passive resistant anti-racism event on Streatham Common summer 2016 soon after Brexit.  It was a response to a racist verbal attack on a retired lady at a bus stop down the road from me.  Three weeks later local mums set up Streatham Stands Together.  Children played, we wrote nice things on cards saying refugees are welcome, we drew pictures, we smiled, we were friendly…it was a day in which love kicked hate out of our neighborhood.
